AJMER: A government school teacher at Chitiwas village in Kekri block was removed for allegedly sending obscene messages to a female student, who also molested her.
Following the student's complaint, the villagers locked the school's main gate on Wednesday. To pacify the angry villagers, who demanded immediate suspension of the accused teacher and the school principal, the police reached the spot.
Seeing the growing agitation, the education officers also reached the school and removed the accused teacher and principal from the school. A report on the incident was sent to the director of education and the district collector for further action.
District Education Officer of the senior secondary department of Ajmer district, Dharmendra Jatav said that the accused teacher, Sagar Singh Meena, the principal of the school, Chandmal and PTI Shaitan Singh have been removed from the school with immediate effect.
Jatav said that the fact-finding report has been sent to the director of education and the district collector for necessary investigation and action.
The villagers said that they send their children for education and such things will not be tolerated. The victim had submitted a written complaint against the geography teacher Meena to the school. She mentioned that he not only molested her but also messaged her to send him her personal photos.
She also alleged that the teacher threatened to kill her if she informed about his intents to her parents. She alleged that when her brother reported the crime to the principal of the school, he told him to take a transfer certificate for his sister.
