Manuel Pellegrini has made ten changes to his side for the trip to Newport County in the Carabao Cup second round - but he has still named a senior eleven and resisted bringing in youngsters.
The only player to survive from the 3-1 Premier League win over Watford at the weekend is centre back Issa Diop, who has been named alongside Fabian Balbuena at centre half.
Albian Ajeti and Roberto make their full debuts for the Hammers in the tie against the League Two side, who beat Leicester City in the FA Cup last season and took Spurs to a replay in the same competition the year before.
The presence of £8m summer signing Ajeti in particular has got the fans excited as it is the first time they have got to see him in claret and blue since his switch from Basel on transfer deadline day.
Ajeti replaces club-record signing Sebastien Haller in the starting eleven but the £45m man is named on the bench if things aren't quite going to plan at Rodney Parade.
Pellegrini hinted on Saturday that Ajeti would play against Newport when he was asked by football.london if that would be the case.
"He deserves that opportunity, he is doing very well during training sessons.," the manager said.
Javier Hernandez has a knee injury that keeps him out of the eleven while the likes of Arthur Masuaku, Ryan Fredericks, Mark Noble and Manuel Lanzini getting the night off.
