Sri Lankan sensation Yohani is all set to make her singing debut in Bollywood with a special Hindi version of her blockbuster song, ‘Manika Mage Hithe’ in ‘Thank God’.
The makers of the Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh starrer decided to have a Hindi version of the popular song in the voice of the original singer. The said song will reportedly be composed by Tanishk Bagchi and the lyrics will be penned by Rashmi Virag.
A slice of life comedy, ‘Thank God’ will be directed by Indra Kumar. While this will be Ajay's first collaboration with Sidharth, it will mark his third film with Rakul Preet. He was last seen with her in ‘De De Pyaar De’ along with Tabu. They will also be seen next in ‘Mayday’.
Earlier, in a statement, Indra Kumar stated that unlike his other films, ‘Thank God’ is going to be a family entertainer. He said, "We have been waiting for a long time to begin the shoot and finally we will start on 21st of January, Thank God! (laughs). It is an entertaining slice of life comedy with a message and I am quite excited to be working again with Ajay Devgn whom I've known for so many years along with the young guns Siddharth and Rakul."
