A star of Ajax's Champions League run has been told to avoid the mistakes of Everton flop Davy Klaassen.
Donny van de Beek has become a wanted man after playing a key role in the Dutch side's run to the semi-final of Europe's top club competition.
Van de Beek scored the only goal of last week's first-leg with Spurs and is attracting interest from a host of top teams.
But Dutch football legend Ruud Guillet says that if the 22-year-old does leave Ajax this summer then he has to learn from Klaassen's nightmare season at Goodison.
“If Van de Beek goes to a different club, I hope he doesn’t do the same as Klaassen,” Gullit said on Ziggo Sport .
“Klaassen went to Everton , a team that do not play like Ajax and so he did not provide the same return.”
Klaassen was sold to Werder Bremen last summer for £12m and has enjoyed a good first season playing in Germany.
