Ajax reveal squad for Champions League semi-final clash against Spurs as key player returns

Ajax are now on their way to London ahead of Tuesday night's Champions League semi-final first leg clash against Spurs.

The Dutch giants have already knocked Real Madrid and Juventus out of the competition this campaign and they will be hopeful of reaching the final for the first time since 1996.

However, Mauricio Pochettino's side will also be quietly confident of sealing a place in the showpiece finale in Madrid at the start of June even though they have a number of injury issues at present.

Harry Kane remains out following the ankle injury he sustained against Man City in the quarter-final first leg, while there are still question marks over Moussa Sissoko, Harry Winks and Erik Lamela.

Son Heung-min will also be missing for the first leg of the semi-final encounter having picked up a one-game ban following his booking at Man City last time out.

With Pochettino having a selection headache with a number of key players unavailable, Ajax have been given a boost following the news that Noussair Mazraoui has travelled with his teammates to the capital.

The right-back, who was absent at the weekend against Vitesse, has been a key player for the Eredivisie team so far this season and his potential return is certainly good news for Erik ten Hag's side.

Ajax have this morning named the 22 players that will fly to London, although four of them will drop out for the game in N17.
