Erik ten Hag says his Ajax players have kept their focus since he took the Manchester United job - because that is what he always "demands".
The Amsterdam-based side are preparing to lose their manager at the end of the season having already been confirmed to take over at Old Trafford. But they have brushed off uncertainty to keep their foot on the gas in the Eredivisie title race.
They cruised to a 3-0 win over PEC Zwolle on Saturday night despite a number of key injuries to move seven points clear of PSV before their game on Sunday. Ten Hag was delighted with the win and the performance of his side.

He was asked how his side have remained focused and responded to recent events surrounding his future. And he insisted the attitude of his players will ensure he ends his stint at the club with another league title medal
“My players are always focused and that is what we demand," Ten Hag said at his post-match press conference. "That is in our process.
“What you see, it’s always spirit in this team, the fighting spirit and we need that attitude to win games and, finally, win championships. That we will do, but we have to live from game to game, we will do that.”
Ten hag was named as Ralf Rangnick's successor a little over a week ago, with the Dutchman pipping Maurico Pochettino to the role. Upon being confirmed as United's boss, Ten Hag revealed he was relishing the challenge ahead.
“It is a great honour to be appointed manager of Manchester United and I am hugely excited by the challenge ahead," he said. "I know the history of this great club and the passion of the fans, and I am absolutely determined to develop a team capable of delivering the success they deserve.
“It will be difficult to leave Ajax after these incredible years, and I can assure our fans of my complete commitment and focus on bringing this season to a successful conclusion before I move to Manchester United.”
