Ajax chief makes huge transfer admission amid Arsenal, Spurs and Liverpool links to Hakim Ziyech

Edwin van der Sar has admitted that Ajax will lose more players next year.

The Ajax chief's comments come amid reports that Premier League clubs are interested in several of the Dutch side's players, notably Hakim Ziyech.

The Morocco international impressed in the recent 4-4 draw against Chelsea in the Champions League, contributing two assists for the Eredivisie side.

Ziyech was also instrumental in Ajax's run to the Champions League semi-finals last term before they lost to Tottenham.

Ajax's success last campaign came at a cost, as they lost two of their best players in the summer window with Frenkie de Jong and Matthijs de Ligt being sold to Barcelona and Juventus respectively

And speaking to Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, former Manchester United goalkeeper says the club are resigned to losing more top of their key stars.

"Next year Ajax will undoubtedly also lose players again."

Spurs have been linked with a move for Ziyech, with the north London side reportedly looking for a replacement for Christian Eriksen, whose contract expires in the summer.

Former Tottenham midfielder Van der Vaart revealed he had been in contact with Spurs about Ziyech, urging the North London side to swoop next summer after his eye-catching performances on the continent in recent seasons.

"I really hope he goes to Tottenham Hotspur, I sent a message today to [Daniel] Levy, I said: Get Ziyech after this season," Van der Vaart told Voetbal Primeur.

"I am convinced that he becomes a sensation in London, and I also wish him that.

"I hope Spurs takes him and we will see."
