Team GB Winter Olympian AJ Rosen has died aged 37 after a battle with cancer.
Rosen, who competed in the luge at three different Games, also recorded Britain's best-ever finish at a luge World Cup, finishing sixth in the 2008-09 season.
British Olympic Assocation Chief Executive Andy Anson said: “The British Olympic Association is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Adam ‘AJ’ Rosen.
“A three-time Olympian competing in luge, AJ was often the sole representative from his sport for Team GB, but his infectious smile and warm personality made him a highly valued member of any Team GB delegation he was a part of.
"Our thoughts and condolences go to AJ’s family, loved ones and his sporting friends and colleagues.”

Widely regarded as Britain's greatest-ever luge athlete, Rosen competed at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin before further appearances in Vancouver in 2010 and Pyeongchang in 2018.
He was born in New York to an English mother and first discovered luge as a nine-year-old watching the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer.
On his Olympic debut as a 21-year-old, he finished a creditable 16th in the men's singles, matching that performance four years later.
Having failed to qualify for the Sochi Games in 2014, Rosen was back in the Team GB squad in 2018 and finished 22nd before announcing his retirement from the sport.
Announcing his death on Twitter, Luge GB wrote: “With great sadness we announce that 3x Team GB Olympian AJ Rosen passed away this morning following a ferocious battle against cancer.
“AJ was not only one of the greatest ever GB Luge Olympians, he was also the friendliest and most down-to-earth person you could ever wish to meet.”
