AJ Pritchard takes girlfriend Abbie for first date night since she was burned in horror fire

AJ Pritchard took his girlfriend Abbie Quinnen on their first date since she was burned in a horrific fire.

The Strictly Come Dancing star took to Instagram to share a snap of him drinking an Espresso Martini on the first day of pubs and stores reopening.

“So this happened... it must have been fate #datenight @abbiequinnen,” he captioned the post.

His girlfriend commented on the post: “My handsome date.”

The two took advantage of the sunshine and visited Kew Gardens and took snaps of the cherry blossoms.

Abbie shared a few snaps from their date, including photos of the pagoda in the gardens, the lovely cherry blossoms, and a snap of AJ walking towards the botanic garden.

Another photo showed Abbie wrapped up in a long black coat as she posed in front of the pagoda.

“The best day with you @aj11ace @kewgardens,” she wrote alongside the post.

AJ commented on the post with three heart emojis.

Fans also commented their well-wishes and complimented the star’s photos.

“Love to see this. Your photos are gorgeous, and it's great to see you're doing so well Abbie,” one user posted.

Another wrote: “Lovely to see you and Aj enjoying a day out Abbie.”

“Hope your feeling better now Abbie,” one fan added.

Abbie, 23, was rushed to hospital in January after she was engulfed in flames when a social media video went horribly wrong.

She told The Sun: "My face was burning hot, it felt very painful. I was lucky it missed my eye.

"I had massive blisters filled with water on my chest, neck and face and they had to pop them and clean the areas…

"My face swelled up. I couldn’t see out of my right eye. Luckily, there were no mirrors in the bathrooms but I kept glimpsing my reflection in my phone screen, it was horrific."
