AJ Pritchard's girlfriend Abbie Quinnen considering more surgery after fireball horror

Abbie Quinnen has revealed that she is considering having more surgery following the accident that left her scarred.

The professional dancer, 24, sustained third-degree burns whilst making a social media video with her boyfriend AJ Pritchard, 27, in January last year.

They had been attempting to transform a wine bottle into a vase by wrapping rope around it, which had been dipped in chemicals. This is then set on fire, though it caught Abbie.

Her hair and body were set alight, with her admitted to hospital. She initially underwent three skin grafts and has since received further treatment following the accident.

It's been a year since the incident, but Abbie has said that she is still undergoing treatment every so often, as discussed in an exclusive interview with OK!

Abbie told the outlet recently: "I still get treatment every six weeks, I actually get to see my surgeon in March so she will be able to tell me what we can do next."

She said this may include another operation or other treatment "to help [her] scars." She added: "I'm looking forward to seeing her again to see where I stand really."

She explained that boyfriend AJ - best known for having been a professional dancer on Strictly Come Dancing - had been "absolutely amazing" during her recovery.

Abbie said that whilst it had been "a hard year," she had AJ by her side "all the way through," with her commenting that she feels "really lucky" to have had such support.
