AJ Odudu has bounced back from the heartbreak of having to quit the Strictly Come Dancing final due to injury by landing a new job on the BBC as a host on Morning Live.
AJ and pro partner Kai Widdrington were left devastated on Friday when they had to pull out of the final after she sustained a serious ligament injury in training.
Despite the best efforts of medical staff to try and get her on the dancefloor, AJ admitted she couldn't even walk on her ankle let alone dance on it.
AJ and Kai were at the Strictly final, but were forced to sit on the sidelines as Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice were crowned 2021 champions.

Speaking to presenter Claudia Winkleman, AJ told her not being able to actually dance in the final was like having her heartbroken.
AJ explained: "That's what it feels like, but, we have had the best time on this show and you know, I've been putting on a brave face, Kai's been putting on a brave face; we've loved the show tonight, Rose and John and Johannes and Giovanni are incredible.
"But we wanted to be on the dancefloor with them, so we've been swallowing tears throughout the night. I'm just so happy you know; I'm genuinely happy and grateful to be here."
It's not all bad news for AJ though as she got to present daytime show Morning Live on Monday, to the delight of viewers.
Still wearing her medical moon boot to host alongside Rav Wilding, AJ teased her Morning Live debut on Twitter when she uploaded a photo of her Rav will the caption: "Today 9:15am On @bbcone I've whacked on my big girl pants to guest present Morning Live with @ravwilding. See you in a few!"
Her followers were quick to wish her luck, with one writing: "Yessssss want to see you on tv more , your lovely warm engaging personality is a breath of fresh air," and a second telling her: "There is nothing I love more than seeing you, bright and early this lively morning. Yes AJ. Staying booked and busy."
