AJ Odudu 'gutted' about 'cheeky' dress slip on Strictly

AJ Odudu says she’s 'gutted' over a dress mishap she suffered during her latest performance on Strictly Come Dancing.

The TV presenter spoke out after slipping on her stunning yellow dress during her fiery paso doble with dance partner Kai Waddington on Saturday (November 13).

She shared a video of the blink-and-you-miss-it moment, showing her stumble slightly on the floaty skirt of her outfit.

She wrote on her Instagram that they had 'kept going' after the slip.

AJ slipped on her dress (BBC)

AJ said: “Gutted about the cheeky little slip on my dress during our power Paso tonight but I tried my best and we kept going. Olé!”

But her followers told her they hadn't even noticed.

"Totally thought it was choreo!! Was amazing babe," said former Strictly champion Ore Oduba.

"I thought you were fantastic! I didn’t even notice the slip so to have done it and carried on without making it obvious just shows how professional you are," said another follower.

"I didn't even notice the slip. You were great!" exclaimed another.

Sadly AJ and Kai landed at the bottom of the BBC dance show leaderboard on Saturday night.

They only secured 28 points out of a possible 40 on the hit BBC One show and judge Craig Revel Horwood described it as 'disappointing.'

Last weekend they topped the Strictly leaderboard with 39 points.

Fans took to social media to complain that the pair had been 'underscored' in their opinion.

"You were fantastic! I don’t understand the scores tonight," said one.

"Undermarked!!" cried another.

"You and Kai were amazing and fierce. Defiantly underscored," another fan told them.
