A tweet from news network AJ+ has gone viral after it described Prince Harry as 'Meghan Markle's husband.'

The tweet was in reference to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex 's decision to step back from their roles as senior members of the Royal Family, announcing plans to divide their time between North America and the UK.

Harry and Meghan dropped a bombshell announcement on Wednesday evening - reportedly without the Queen's knowledge - that they planned to remodel their lives as Royal Family members and "carve out a progressive role within this institution."

Senior members of the Royal Family are now said to be in productive talks about finding a workable solution in response to Harry and Meghan's announcement.
