AJ Bunker slams "shady b****" Astrid Wett after opponent dispute ahead of fight

AJ Bunker has hit out at "shady b****" Astrid Wett while suggesting the OnlyFans star went against their contracted plans.

Former Love Island star Bunker has signed and agreed a deal to make her Misfits Boxing debut against Wett at the Telford Centre in Manchester on March 4. The pair will meet for the influencer boxing flyweight title with a win likely to set up a potential future clash with Wett's OnlyFans rival Elle Brooke.

Bunker agreed to fight the winner of Wett's last fight with Keeley Coltran after her own fight against Carla Howe collapsed. But the 30-year-old has claimed Wett pursued three opponents behind the scenes before signing on the dotted line.

“Before me and Astrid got on quite well," Bunker told Mirror Fighting ahead of her showdown with Wett. "She messaged me before I fought Elle Brooke saying good luck so we got on quite well. That respect actually went leading up to this fight. She knew we were fighting, she knew from last year but I found out she tried to put three different opponents in front of me.

“Basically she was being nice behind the scenes but then I found out she was being a little shady b***h. Then she wasn’t messaging me, I was sending her messages to try and see what was happening. So what was once a peaceful fight, now I genuinely want blood. I hate having my time wasted, and I hate clout chasers.

“I have heard that she was trying to show off behind my back. All my respect is gone now, and I am coming for a smoke. I genuinely have no respect for her now, so I want to batter the c**p out of her.”

It will be Bunker's third appearance in the ring after she lost on points to rival Brooke last year before securing redemption with a maiden win over Tasha Kiran in November. But now the former reality TV star has an official boxing coach and is intending to stay with the sport for the distance.

A win against Wett would see her become flyweight champion where she could await further tests or choose to move up to Brooke's weight and pursue revenge. But for now she is keen to go on a global tour and accept any challenges that may arise. “I have got a game plan, I want to fight Astrid and get my title at flyweight," she said. "Elle is not at that weight, I will defend that for a while.

"I want to travel to Texas and travel with Misfits for a while against any fighter that wants to fight for it. I am not going to be like Astrid, I will take on any opponent. For my debut fight with Misfits to be on it is a dream come true. I think they are the biggest and best you can be with."
