AJ Bunker questions whether Elle Brooke fight was "rigged" after defeat by rival

Former Love Island star AJ Bunker has questioned whether her decision loss to Elle Brooke was "rigged" despite all three judges scoring the fight in her rival's favour.

In the co-main event of Kingpyn's 'Settling Scores' event on Saturday night, OnlyFans star Brooke outpointed Bunker in their ring debuts by scores of 40-36 across the board. Brooke showed more technique than Bunker over the four rounds with the 24-year-old delivering an X-rated speech after the win, expressing her frustration at not being able to deliver her promised "first female influencer knockout".

Bunker filled in for content creator Astrid Wett on two weeks notice after she withdrew from the fight over safety fears. The former Love Island star thinks the fight was more competitive than the scorecards made out and called for a rematch against Brooke.

"Anyone who watches this fight back will see it was a split decision," Bunker told Mirror Fighting . "I actually had a judge come in here and go 'actually, I thought you had that'. So, rigged or not rigged? I don't know but at the end of the day I would be up for a rematch against Elle with more than two weeks notice. I think it was a quite good fight and if I had more time to prepare for it, it would be a good match.

"Where was that knockout? I was preparing for an MMA fight on two weeks notice and that's what I brought to the table so imagine me if I had the proper fight camp that she had. I'm proud of my performance, I stuck to the gameplan that my coach gave me. No one knocked me out and I feel like I got more points in terms of hitting her in the face and moving off, so I think I did myself proud.

"This isn't the last time you're going to see me in the ring, this was me with two weeks notice. I am definitely up for more boxing matches and MMA I want to get back into again. This will not be the last time you see of me, hopefully next time I'll have more time to prepare with a proper fight camp and bring more to the table."

Bunker was preparing to fight Playboy model Carla Howe at a Celeb MMA event before receiving the short-notice call-up to face Brooke. She is hopeful of making her MMA debut before the end of the year and called for a rescheduled fight against Howe after the celebrity event was postponed to a later date.
