The government should reject the suggestion of the Pay Revision Commission to raise the age of pension, All India Youth Federation (AIYF) State secretary T.T. Jismon has said.
If the government decided to implement the suggestion, the AIYF would launch a strong protest, he warned.
‘Privatisation’
“A decision to increase the age of pension is a clear denial of justice to the educated youth in the State. There have been problems with appointments due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While the country is facing its worst phase of unemployment, the Union government is not even reporting vacancies and is moving ahead with total privatisation,” he alleged. He asked the State government to expedite appointments.
