Aitor Karanka to launch Nottingham Forest transfer raid - report

Aitor Karanka could raid former club Nottingham Forest in the summer transfer window, according to reports.

Karanka has just been appointed manager of Forest's Sky Bet Championship rivals Birmingham City.

And the Spaniard is interested in signing Reds winger Albert Adomah, reports SPORTSworldGhana.com.

The pair have previously worked together at Middlesbrough.

It is said that the Blues are willing to pay £1million for the 32-year-old, who is entering the final 12 months of his contract at the City Ground.

Adomah is reportedly one of five players identified by Karanka following his arrival at St Andrew's to replace Pep Clotet.

The Ghana international was on loan at Cardiff City this season.

He voiced his frustration on social media when his loan deal was not extended beyond the end of June after the campaign was extended due to the coronavirus pandemic.
