Karan Johar’s 50th larger-than-life birthday bash saw the who's who of tinseltown in full attendance and we got to witness some very stylish looks.
From Shanaya Kapoor to the likes of Ananya Panday, Kriti Sanon and Kiara Advani to Malaika Arora, everyone in attendance decided to show up in head-turning looks. Aishwarya Rai Bacchan chose to do the same.
Bachchan opted golden dress that was similar to what she had worn on the red carpet of Cannes 2014. For the unversed, the Cavalli gown features a fine mermaid cut fishtail gown form, which Bachchan had worn when she had walked the red carpet for the screening of ‘Deux Jours, Une Nuit'.
She amped it up by layering it underneath a black single-breasted buttoned-up blazer, which featured embellishments on its shoulder.
Bachchan’s hair and makeup though, looked the same. She chose to opt for similar styled middle-parted loose curls, and a bright red pout, as she had done in 2014.
The stunning actor was accompanied by actor and husband Abhishek Bachchan, who looked dapper as ever in a matching embellished black tuxedo.
While the gorgeous former Miss World looked stunning and chose to make a conscious fashion statement by repeating her shimmering outfit, netizens were quite not impressed by it. Right from trolling her about “why is she repeating her outfit?” to trolling her about how “she needs a new stylist”, trollers have been going on and on about her sartorial choice.
On the work front, Bachchan is making a comeback after 10 years to Tamil cinema, in the upcoming Tamil epic historical fiction drama, Ponniyin Selvan, helmed by director Mani Ratnam, in which Bachchan will appear in dual roles.
