Airport security guard's rather rude note to passenger gets her fired

CCTV captures a wicked security guard cackle after handing a passenger a note which read "You ugly" at an airport.

The woman, who has not been named, gave Neal Strassner, 40, the tatty scrap of paper as he walked through the scanner at Rochester International Airport, Minnesota.

"I travel constantly and I’ve never had anything like this happen," said the shocked passenger.

But the security guard has since been sacked, bosses at Virginia-based security company VMD Corp confirmed.

The footage, recorded at the airport in June, shows the security guard ask Mr Strassner to step through the scanner.

She then hands him the tiny piece of paper and allegedly asks him to open it.

After Mr Strassner leaves the frame, the employee is seen watching him until he reads it.

She laughs hysterically at this.

Mr Strassner today told New York Post : "I didn’t open it at first because I didn’t care about it.

"She turned around a few times asking, 'Are you going to open that?'

"I really have no idea what she was trying to do.

"I don’t like throwing negativity around. What about a note that says, 'Hey, next time bring me tacos'?"

At the end of the clip, the woman can be seen tearing another piece of cardboard from a box of latex gloves, and appears to start writing something for her next victim.

Mr Strassner obtained the CCTV footage via a Freedom of Information request and then complained to the airport and VMD Corp.

VMD Corp contracts with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).

A statement from the agency read: "TSA holds contractors to the highest ethical standards and has zero tolerance for this type of behaviour."
