Airport gets New York grill-style food concession

A New York grill-style bar and diner has been opened at Edinburgh Airport by The Restaurant Group (TRG).

Hudson St Grill is inspired heavily by Manhattan's Meatpacking District and will offer breakfast comfort food such as corned beef hash, buttermilk pancakes and Campbells Scottish breakfast.

For dinner the grill inspired menu includes steaks, burgers and ribs from local butcher Campbells and are all cooked on the state of the art open flame Robata grill.

There is a selection of sourdough pizzas, tasty salads, crab mac and cheese, the Reuben sandwich, fish and chips and vegetarian and vegan options, plus a dedicated children’s menu.

The bar will serve craft beers on tap and in bottles, bourbons and whiskies, wines and local gins alongside signature cocktails.

Nick Ayerst, managing director of TRG Concessions, said: “The passengers at Edinburgh Airport are in for something completely different. Hudson St. Grill is authentic and offers the terminal a magnetic point of difference. It is truly a unique dining experience.”
