Airlines Gradually Restoring Operations After Global Tech Outage

Several airlines, including Jetstar Japan, Hong Kong Express, and Cebu Pacific, are gradually recovering from disruptions caused by a global tech outage. Jetstar Japan announced that its operations are returning to normal, except for five canceled flights. Hong Kong Express reported that its online booking and check-in systems are mostly back online, with four flights resuming and 20 remaining canceled due to the impact on its service system provider, Navitaire.

Cebu Pacific, a Philippine airline, stated that its automated systems, including check-in and booking, have been restored. However, flight operations may still experience delays as they work to normalize operations following the recent outage. The airline's technical teams are actively working to fully restore system functionality in response to the global service disruption affecting various airlines and businesses.
