An airline offering a child-free zone on their flights has announced routes from the UK.
Long-haul low-cost airline Scoot has launched a service between London Gatwick and Bangkok in Thailand.
The first flight departed on December 16 and will be followed by three weekly scheduled seasonal services a week from March 2022, with a further review and potential increase in frequency based on demand and regulatory approval.

All services will be operated by Scoot’s widebody Boeing 787 Dreamliners offering both Economy and ScootPlus cabins, sporting features such as inflight Wi-Fi and the ability to upgrade to Scoot Plus or to Scoot-in-Silence – Scoot’s offering of a quiet-zone.
The Scoot-in-Silence zone is located at the front of the 787 Dreamliners.
The exclusive and silent cabin does not allow any children under 12-years-old.
Chiravadee Khunsub, Director of Tourism Authority of Thailand UK & Ireland, said: "Scoot's new flight service to Bangkok from London Gatwick is exciting news, especially for travellers across the south of the UK.
"The new flights are great timing to add capacity for travellers looking for some winter sun and a budget airline option makes Thailand even more affordable for couples, groups of friends and vaccinated families looking to get away and share amazing experiences together."
She added: "Bangkok is a great city with new hotel openings, world-class shopping, Michelin dining, cool neighbourhoods, local markets, river boat tours and of course the Grand Palace. All of this is just 12 hours from London and at great value fares thanks to Scoot."
