Airline giants drop major Yeremy Pino to Arsenal transfer hint as Edu pictured boarding flight

Arsenal are still active in the transfer market and plan to strengthen the squad before the close of the window. Mikel Arteta and Edu want to finish the summer strongly and complete the plan they constructed earlier this year.

The wide position remains an area of interest for the club to find solutions and according to a number of reports, Villarreal’s Yeremy Pino is on Arsenal’s radar. Now, with Edu pictured flying to Valencia, the home of the Yellow Submarine, it has heightened excitement over the transfer.

The picture shows Edu appearing to board a RyanAir flight to the Spanish city. This sparked the airline to tweet a quote captioned: "Edu, PINO(t) on the return flight?"

Arsenal supporters have been some of the best in the business with transfer tracking. Either the monitoring of flights out of cities containing their transfer targets or analysing social posts from players being linked with a move to Arsenal.

The Gunners have been able to do plenty of business quietly of late. football.london revealed earlier in the summer that the club had implemented strategies to mitigate the information being leaked regarding potential moves.

However, it is impossible to keep everything quiet. Especially when your well-known technical director Edu boards a public flight to a city where a rumoured transfer target resides.

Unai Emery was recently asked about the potential exit of Pino. The former Arsenal head coach did little to play down reports, even suggesting if a bid came in he would go.

"If an offer arrives for players like Yeremy Pino, then he will have to leave. We have a responsibility with the club. It is what it is," Emery told reporters ahead of the club’s opening fixture of the La Liga season.

Prices for Pino have varied. He has a release clause of €80million (£67m). However, the Spanish side would be willing to let him leave for less as they chase other transfer targets and are in need of financial support.
