Airdrieonians seal striker's return as he links up with twin brother

Airdrieonians have sealed the return of striker Jack McKay on loan from English National League side Chesterfield – as he links up with twin brother Paul.

The 24-year-old joins the Diamonds for a second spell, having played at New Broomfield in 2017, and he is reunited with midfielder brother Paul.

The pair have also played together at  Leeds United, Cardiff City and Doncaster Rovers during their careers.

Director of Football Stuart Millar, who hopes League One will resume shortly amid the lower league football suspension, said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming Jack to the club when we’re able to resume training and we hope to see him making an impact in the latter part of the season.”
