Airdrie v Queen's Park: Former Kilmarnock striker Dale Carrick scores winning penalty in 12-11 shootout

A crazy penalty shootout was decided by former Kilmarnock attacker Dale Carrick tonight.

Airdrie won 12-11 on spot-kicks, with the goalkeepers getting involved in the action.

Both keepers scored, and it went back round to the initial penalty takers.

David Galt and Callum Smith missed penalties in the initial round, before Ciaran Summers missed his for the Spiders.

Carrick smashed his home to give the Diamonds the bonus point.

Airdrie host Hamilton this weekend with the winner bagging second-place in the group behind Partick Thistle.
