Airdrie have snapped up midfielder Griffin Sabatini from Ukrainian Premier League SC Dnipro 1 on a season-long loan.
The Swiss star made his first-team debut for the top flight side and the 21-year-old has now agreed a deal at the Penny Cars Stadium.
He joins Frenchman Thomas Robert as the latest signing to move to the Diamonds from overseas as part of the League One outfits recruitment drive.
New Broomfield Director of Football Stuart Millar told the club website: “Griffin is an accomplished midfielder who is strong and good on the ball, but most importantly he has a great attitude and he was desperate to come here.
“We have been working closely with Griffin’s representatives and also my counterpart at Dnipro Andrii Rusol, to whom I am thankful for his professionalism and keenness to see this move happen.”
