Airdrie schoolboy still missing a week after vanishing from Time Capsule

Concerns are growing for a  missing schoolboy  who vanished from the Time Capsule almost a week ago.

Kevin Paul, 14, has not been seen since Friday, July 19 at around 8.20pm at the Coatbridge leisure centre.

It is thought that Kevin, who has gone missing before, may have travelled to  Ayr  or Craig Tara.

Kevin is described as around 5ft 3in tall, of stock build and has short brown hair and brown eyes.

When he was last seen, he was wearing a blue and green North Face hooded top, grey tracksuit bottoms and blue Nike trainers.

Constable Christopher Ross, of  Airdrie  Police Office, said: "Kevin has went missing before and always comes back however due to his age we are growing increasingly concerned for him. 

"He has been in touch with friends and those he lives with on the phone since he went missing however we need to see him in person and bring him home to make sure he is safe and well.

"He has links to Ayrshire and may possibly be in the Ayr and Craig Tara areas." 

Anyone with any information should contact police via 101, quoting incident number 4129 of Friday, July 19.
