Ian Murray refused to comment on Rico Quitongo's absence from the Airdrie squad amid the club dropping an investigation into claims the player was allegedly abused by a Diamonds fan.
The League One club announced earlier this week that there was "insufficient evidence" for them to continue their probe into the player's claim he was racially abused during the club's 0-0 draw at Queen's Park last month.

And Quitongo - who started in the club's last outing against Clyde on October 2 and was fit to play - was left out of the squad entirely for today's 3-0 win away at Falkirk.
It's understood the player isn't happy with how the situation has been handled and earlier in the week, his brother Jai - who plays for Queen's Park - took to Twitter, questioning the club's investigation.
Jai tweeted on Tuesday: "Thorough investigation? It's all about looking good rather than doing good for some people. LOL. #BLM (Black Lives Matter)."
When Murray was asked why Quitongo was absent from the squad today, he told Lanarkshire Live Sport : "There will be no comment on Rico."
Quitongo has made 12 appearances for Airdrie this season, having joined the club in the summer following his exit from fellow League One club Dumbarton.
But the events of the last week have now cast doubt on his future at the club.
