Airdrie move Scottish Cup clash as winter weather hits Scottish football

Airdrie have moved their Scottish Cup second round clash with Edinburgh City to Sunday, in a bid to beat sub-zero temperatures.

A recent snowfall and predicted overnight temperatures mean the Diamonds felt their game was unlikely to go ahead at 3pm on Saturday.

The game will now take place at the Penny Cars Stadium on Sunday, January 10, at 1pm.

It's feared that winter weather over the weekend will see games moved or postponed.
