Airdrieonians' preparations for today's League One trip to Peterhead have been thrown into chaos after FIVE players tested for Covid-19.
The club released a statement on social media this morning confirming that their players had tested positive for the virus and it is understood five of the squad have tested positive.
But Airdrie insisted there are enough fit players for them to fulfil the fixture.

The game at Balmoor will go ahead as planned, but it is likely to hamper Airdrie's hopes of picking up their first win of the season after two defeats and a draw so far for Ian Murray's "heavily depleted" side.
A statement released by Airdrie said: "We can confirm that a number of positive Covid cases were identified during routine squad testing this week.
"Although our squad is now heavily depleted, we have enough fit players to fulfil the fixture in accordance with the rules and the match goes ahead as planned."
Airdire are already missing key men with Josh Kerr and Salim Kouider-Aïssa still sidelined through injury, along with defender Luke Lyons, who requires surgery on a shoulder injury.
Looking ahead to the clash, boss Murray told the club's website: “Peterhead got off to a great start with their win - since then it’s been a bit different for them, but it’s always a very difficult place to go.
"They’ve got certain individuals that can cause you problems and they know what this league is all about.

“The positive thing for us is that we’ve got a decent record up there.
"The pitch is fantastic which is good for our football players, but we need to make sure that we get them on the ball and make sure that they’re firing. We’re looking forward to it."
