A fantastic four clubbed together to lose a collective seven-and-a-half stone – and secure a much sought after slimming award.
Airdrie dieters Calum Turnbull, 23, Courtney Canning, 23, Danielle Canning, 17, and Georgia Bell, 20, have been awarded club 10 status.
The award recognises people who have lost “10 per cent of their body weight to increase their health benefits, lower their blood cholesterol and decrease their chances of heart disease and diabetes”.
The quartet all attend Slimming World’s group in Cairnlea church hall and their proud consultant, Sharon McGinness, said: “This is such a fantastic achievement for a group of young people.

“Danielle is still at school and working part-time, Courtney has a four-month-old baby and Georgia and Calum have been on holiday but got straight back to group to continue their weight-loss journeys.
“They all attend group every week and I can’t speak highly enough on how well they have done.”
