Airdrie director of football Stuart Millar tore a strip off striker Thomas Robert after the Frenchman ripped his shirt off in celebration of his first senior goal.
A booking in the Betfred Cup game was the least of Robert’s problems though, as Premiership side Livingston roared back to win 4-1 at the Tony Macaroni Arena, a score-line that Millar says flattered the Lions.
He said: “Thomas Robert got his first senior goal and took his top off, which will not happen again because I had a word with him about that.

"We made defensive errors which accumulated in their tally of four, but it was a very unfair, unjust scoreline, because the players never deserved that.
“They worked their socks off and did very well, so it was never a 4-1.”
Millar says all eyes are now on the League One clash at Forfar this weekend, but said: “Our last league result was a 5-0 win against Clyde, so we have to continue that, but I’m disappointed with the inconsistency that we seem to be showing.”
