Airdrie boss Ian Murray says Forfar manager Stuart Malcolm's resignation doesn't change their approach to what is a crucial League One clash at New Broomfield this evening.
Malcolm and coaches Barry Sellars and Martyn Fotheringham tendered their resignation after their 3-0 defeat at Clyde last Thursday left the Loons five points adrift at the foot of the table.
Murray says the goings-on at Station Park won't upset his side's rhythm and warns that they face a tough test in what is a must-win game in their bid for promotion.
The Diamonds gaffer said: "It wont change things for us.
"I'm surprised Stuart decided it was time, but Forfar have been in that position for a long time this season, fighting away.

"They are capable, we've seen that already this season. We beat them 3-1 but it wasn't an easy game. They then went to Partick Thistle and got a 1-1 draw, so they are not a bad side, they are just going through a really rocky patch.
"If we hadn't taken seven points out of our last three games, we'd be down there beside them.
"So we are very cautious, we are very aware of what's around us, but we also realise it's a fantastic opportunity at home to really climb that table at a great time."
Airdrie currently sit sixth in the table, a point behind East Fife, Montrose and Partick Thistle above them, and with all to play for.
Murray said: "A win would be huge, especially the way the fixtures go with East Fife coming next.
"It's in our own hands; we win both games we are in the top half of the table [going into the split] and that's our objective before we go onto the next one."
