Airdrie boss Ian Murray prepares transfer deadline day raid of former club Hibs

Airdrie look set for a deadline day swoop for Hibs midfielder Innes Murray.

It is understood that the Diamonds have agreed a loan deal for the remainder of the League One season.

The 21-year-old has previously had a spell at Stenhousemuir during the 2017/18 season where he scored twice in 19 appearances.

He has made one first team appearance for the Hibees in the Challenge Cup and turned out for the Hibs Colts in the same competition this term.

The 21-year-old would be the third addition of the window at the Penny Cars Stadium after Andy Ryan joined from Dunfermline on loan and Leon McCann made the permanent switch to the challengers.
