An aircraft incident at the Halifax Stanfield International Airport on Saturday night led to temporary delays in all flight operations. The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. when an Air Canada Express flight operated by Pal Airlines arriving from St. John’s, Newfoundland, experienced difficulties upon landing.
The Air Canada spokesperson mentioned that the plane encountered a suspected landing gear issue after its arrival, preventing it from reaching the terminal. As a result, the crew and 73 passengers had to be off-loaded by bus. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported among the passengers and crew, although minor injuries were mentioned by the Nova Scotia Royal Canadian Mounted Police and paramedics who responded to the scene.

Following the incident, flight operations were temporarily suspended as authorities awaited clearance to resume airfield operations. Subsequently, one of the airport's runways has been able to resume regular operations. The cause of the incident remains unknown at this time and is subject to further investigation.
