Airbus will place thousands of workers at Broughton on furlough for a week in June as it reviews "optimal production levels".
The aerospace giant will use the UK Government scheme for staff in production and production support.
They make up a majority of the 4,000+ workforce at the wing assembly plant in North Wales.
The firm used furlough over several months last year as the crisis hit but this will just see staff off for five days from June 7 to June 11.
Broughton has lost hundreds of workers due to the hit to the aviation sector as production levels were reduced - although by working with Unite the union managed to avoid compulsory redundancies.
An Airbus spokesman said: "Airbus continuously reviews optimal production levels and adapts its working arrangements accordingly.
"This latest decision to implement a period of furlough in week 23 (7-11 June) for production and production support teams is a continuation of that work and represents effective resource planning."
Broughton also has an annual planned shutdown.
It's a period whereby employees take holiday, are fully paid and essential maintenance and refurbishment work takes place.
In 2021, this is planned for weeks 30 and 31 (July and August).
