Two teams worked in tandem to detain a group of car theft suspects on Friday night
Greater Manchester Police patrol XT24 spotted a stolen vehicle with false plates in the Newton Heath area.
The team pursued the car for a short while, before three suspects decided to exit and abandon the vehicle.

They ran away from the scene and tried to hide, however, the National Police Air Service was above and directed the patrolling officers straight to the suspects' location.
All suspects have been detained and the vehicle recovered.
