The owner of a Californian mansion is suing a man who rented her property with Airbnb, after finding evidence he had filmed pornography there.
Kristina Knapic, who owns Acacia mansion in Ojai, California, claims she found numerous "enema kits", “sexual devices” and bodily fluids in her home, after leasing the property for five days in August, according to a lawsuit obtained by The Smoking Gun.
Ms Knapic said she initially believed she was renting her mansion to a woman who claimed she and “a group of friends” were staying at the house, which costs around £730 a night, “for a quick summer vacation”.
In a complaint to the Superior Court last week, 46-year-old Ms Knapic suggests “Anna”, the supposed renter, was actually the gay porn actor, director and producer, professionally known as Michael Lucas, after finding a business card for Lucas Entertainment, a New-York based “hard-core gay porn” company, at the property.
On returning to the property Ms Knapic claims “enema kits were found throughout the house", “various sexual devices were found in the beds and in the trash," and “urine, semen and faecal matter” were found.
The lawsuit, which claims damages of nearly £20,000, includes claims for fraud, negligence, trespass and breach of contract and states Ms Knapic is concerned the alleged “pornographic images and films” made in the property will “damage” its “reputation and image.”
The lawsuit also seeks to prevent 43-year-old Mr Lucas or his company from distributing any films made at the Acacia Mansion.
According to the New York Daily News, Mr Lucas acknowledged his company did film at the property but denied allegations that he had left the home in a substandard condition.
Mr Lucas told the paper: “We were told and we have it in writing as well that the mansion was in perfect condition."
