AirAsia has permanently withdrawn sales of all flights across its network from Traveloka after the Indonesian online travel agent failed to list the flights of its Indonesian arm without explanations.
The Southeast Asian low-cost carrier announced the withdrawal from Traveloka on Monday after flights of its Indonesian arm were not listed on Traveloka for the second time in two weeks.
AirAsia said it has not received explanations from the online booking agent and accused Traveloka of unfair treatment.
"The exclusion of several AirAsia Indonesia flights by Traveloka is a clear display of preferential treatment and an act of favouritism," AirAsia Indonesia president director Dendy Kurniwan said. "Therefore, in solidarity, AirAsia Group withdraws sales of all of its flights from Traveloka effective immediately."
Traveloka did not show AirAsia Indonesia flights on its service from Feb 14-17 and again on Saturday, putting an end to the cooperation between the airline conglomerate and the online agent.
