Air raid sirens in Jerusalem as Yemen missile intercepted

According to Israel's military, the missile was intercepted and caused no damage.

Protesters outside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Jerusalem residence briefly took shelter before resuming their demonstration, which called for the release of hostages held since the October 2023 Hamas-led attacks.

Yemen’s Houthi rebels, aligned with Iran, have previously targeted Israel in solidarity with Palestinians.

Meanwhile, the US has intensified daily airstrikes against the Houthis since mid-March.
