(Reuters) - Air New Zealand Ltd <AIR.NZ> said on Tuesday Chairman Tony Carter would retire at the company's annual shareholders' meeting in September, 2019.
Carter, who has been chairman since 2013, would be replaced by director Therese Walsh, the airline said in a statement.
Walsh, who will be Air New Zealand's first female chair, also serves as a director of energy generator and retailer Contact Energy Ltd <CEN.NZ>.
