Air India Maharaja Club: Earn up to 200,000 bonus points for converting reward points under airline's May 2026 offer

If you are a frequent Air India flyer, there might be some good news for you as the Tata Group-owned airline has launched a special offer for May 2026. Air India now boasts of having over 100+ brands in its partnership network, a milestone it is now celebrating with ‘Points Fest’, a special offer for its Maharaja Club members.

Air India added over 100 brands to its partnership network between FY 2023 and FY 2026, marking a major step forward in the programme’s transformation into a modern, globally relevant lifestyle-led loyalty platform. The Maharaja Club programme drove over 4.2 million member transactions across 100+ partners in FY26.

The domestic airline is now celebrating this milestone by announcing a limited-time promotion: Points Fest to reward loyal members with opportunities to earn up to 50% bonus Maharaja Points. The campaign will run for the entire month of May, under which flyers can earn up to 200,000 bonus Maharaja Points.

Air India May 2026 offer: How to earn 200,000 bonus Maharaja Points

Open till May 31, 2026, Air India’s latest campaign offers members two exciting ways to earn up to 200,000 bonus Maharaja Points per eligible partner – shop and earn; and convert and earn.

Using the ‘Shop and Earn’ method, Air India members can get flat 50% bonus Maharaja Points on every transaction made with brands across categories like lifestyle, stays, experiences, travel services. Brands in this promotional offer include Adidas, Ajio, Apple, Atlys, FirstCry, Forest Essentials, H&M, Healthians, Levi’s, Myntra, Nike, Puma, The Bicester Collection, UNIQLO, others.

The other way to earn 200,000 Maharaja Points is by using the ‘Convert and Earn’ way. This is for members who already have accumulated reward points across other programmes. Members can earn up to 50% bonus Maharaja Points when they convert reward points to Maharaja Points via eligible Points Conversion Partners.

Partners include Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, HSBC global, ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI Bank, Flipkart SuperCoins, Audi India and many others.

What do you get with 200,000 Air India Maharaja points?

The Bonus Points earned during the Points Fest can significantly enhance members’ ability to redeem rewards across Air India’s expanding domestic and international network.

To participate, Maharaja Club members would simply need to register for the offer using their Maharaja Club ID and complete transactions or conversions via the designated partner pages.

Key things to know about Air India May 2026 points fest

-Members need to register for the offer first. Points earned before registration will not get the bonus.

-The maximum bonus you can earn from any single partner is 2,00,000 points.

-If you use multiple partners, each partner’s bonus is given separately. This means, if you convert HDFC and ICICI reward points in the same month, both will earn their own bonus based on the slab shared by Air India.

-All transactions must happen between May 1, 2026 and May 31, 2026.

-Once Maharaja Points are credited, they cannot be reversed.

Notably, the latest offer comes just around a month after Tata-owned Air India announced key enhancements to its Maharaja Club. From April 1, 2026, Air India has reduced Maharaja Points required for award flights and cabin upgrades across at least 90% of its network.

With the enhancement, domestic award flights now start from 1,500 points, while cabin upgrades begin at 4,000 points. Air India said economy class redemption fares have reduced by about 30% on average across 80% of domestic routes and 75% of international routes. Moreover, business class fares have reduced by about 15% on domestic routes and about 25% on select international routes.
