Air India flight hit by severe turbulence as passengers and crew are injured

  • An Air India flight, AI2379, travelling from Phuket, Thailand , to Delhi , India, encountered significant turbulence during its descent on 4 August, leading to a sudden drop in altitude.
  • While the aircraft landed safely in Delhi, several people, reportedly two crew members and ten passengers according to local media, sustained minor injuries and were taken to a medical facility at the airport for examination.
