The daughter of a deputy permanent secretary for public health has been found dead in a condominium room, along with a suicide note, in Bangkok’s Ratchathewee district.
Natcha Tangsrikiattikul, of Buri Ram, was found on Thursday on the floor near the bed in her room on the 11th floor of 26-storey Chewathai condominium in Ratchaprarop area around 10am, Pol Lt Col Thewa Boonchawiang, investigation chief of Din Daeng police said.
There was some burned charcoal in an electric pan in the room. The room’s smoke sensor was blocked off, Thai media reported on Friday.

Media reported that Ms Natcha was an air hostess and daughter of deputy permanent secretary for public health Praphon Tangsrikiattikul. She stayed in the condo with her younger sister, a doctor who was on night shift at a hospital.
On Thursday morning, a colleague phoned the younger sister to ask why Natcha did not go to work. Her boyfriend found a letter saying she intended to hurt herself, and the two of them were unable to open the locked bedroom door. They called the condominium management to help unlock the door, and found her body.
In the letter, the woman complained her doctor boyfriend did not spend enough time with her. They had been in a relationship for seven years, but hardly spent any time travelling or eating out together, the reports said.
Police said there was no sign of a struggle inside the room. Forensic officers were combing it for any evidence.
