What’s Going To Happen
The Raiders of Colgate got the honor of kicking off the 2019 football season, but they were rocked out of the gate by Villanova, getting down 27-0 at halftime in a 34-14 loss.
The Colgate offense couldn’t get much of anything going, the defense couldn’t handle the balanced Wildcat attack, and worst of all, the front line struggled against the run allowing six yards per carry.
Enter the Air Force O that’s loaded in the backfield that should run amok behind a line that gets back four of the top five linemen.
The Falcon secondary is the slight concern going into the season, but the front seven will stuff the Raider running game in what should be a nice scrimmage for Air Force before getting two weeks off to prepare for a trip to Colorado.
Don’t expect a whole lot of drama, and watch out for 400 rushing yards from the Falcon attack.
