A launch date has been announced for the second series of a fly-on-the-wall reality TV show about celebrity couple Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash.
Stacey And Joe will return to BBC One and iPlayer on September 9 at 8pm and will show the lives of the couple and their children, as well as their four ducks, four ducklings and two dogs, at their Pickle Cottage home in Essex.
Swash and Solomon said: “We’ve been so grateful for all the lovely messages and people watching series one.
“Everyone’s support means the world to us and we can’t wait to take everyone on this crazy journey we call life. We hope people will laugh along with us again in this new series.”
The upcoming series will show their daughter Belle’s first day of nursery, a Valentine’s Day gift that leaves Solomon in a fit of laughs, their children learning to ski, and Solomon’s first son with ex-boyfriend Dean Cox, Zach’s 17th Birthday.
Clare Sillery, head of commissioning at BBC documentaries, said: “It’s so good to be working with Stacey and Joe and their family again. Audiences loved the first series, episode one reached an audience of 4.2 million on BBC One, that’s a lot of eyes on Pickle Cottage.
“It’s been great to see how viewers have taken Stacey, Joe, their kids and beloved pets to their hearts and series two will continue to reflect their bustling lives at Pickle Cottage.”
In other moments, viewers will see grandad Dave give Zach driving lessons, Solomon open up on her health journey and Swash build a lake.
Former EastEnders actor Swash, 43, and Loose Women panellist Solomon, 35, have been together since 2016 after they met in 2010, when Solomon was competing on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and Swash was co-hosting the spin-off.
The couple, who married in 2022, are parents to Rex, who was born in 2019, Rose, born in 2021, and Belle, born in 2023.
There is also Zach, Leighton (Solomon’s son with ex-fiance Aaron Barnham), and Harry, Swash’s son with ex-fiance Emma Sophocleous.
The second series of Stacey And Joe will run for six hour-long episodes shown weekly from September 9.
