Authorities have suspended a search for a diver off the Margaret River coast with new information placing doubt on whether anyone is missing.
An air and sea search was launched on Friday afternoon after reports a man went diving near The Box surf break, but did not leave the water.
It is now thought those reports were mistaken, police said.
