Man found with 'stab wound' after air ambulance scrambled to residential road in Bolton

A man was found with a 'stab wound' after ambulances rushed to a residential estate in Bolton.

An air ambulance, road ambulance and rapid response vehicle, as well as police, were all scrambled to a home in Deepdale Road in Breightmet, Bolton at around 9.52am on Monday.

The emergency services were responding to reports of concern for the welfare of a man.

A man, believed to be in his 30s, was found with a "suspected stab wound", police have confirmed.

One person has been taken to hospital (Robert Weall)

Paramedics were at the scene for around an hour before rushing the man to hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening, said officers.
