The Wales Air Ambulance has landed in part of central Swansea following an incident.
South Wales Police said they were called to reports of an unconscious woman in flats in Griffith John Street.
A spokeswoman confirmed the air ambulance was also called.
Residents in the area said they saw the air ambulance preparing to make a landing.
A police spokeswoman said: "We were called to concerns for the welfare of an unconscious woman in a block of flats in Griffith John Street, Swansea , at about 12.55pm.
"The air ambulance is in attendance."
No further details have been released regarding the condition of the woman.
