Air ambulance lands at Netherfield park after reports of medical emergency

An air ambulance was called to a medical emergency in Nottinghamshire. An ambulance response car and crewed ambulance were also sent to a private address in Netherfield on Thursday, September 29 after emergency services received a call shortly before 3pm.

A spokesperson for East Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We received a call at 2.51pm on 29 September to a private address in Netherfield. The caller reported a medical emergency.

"We sent a paramedic in a fast response car and a crewed ambulance. The air ambulance was also in attendance.

"One patient was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre via crewed ambulance.” A witness from the area said the Air Ambulance landed at Jackie Bells Park at 3pm, and left around 3:40pm.

He said: "It headed off flying towards Mapperley way. Paramedics got into a passing vehicle and followed a paramedic fast response car heading towards Carlton train line area."
